Located in between Bradenton Beach and Longboat Key. The island itself is private but there is a sand bar just off Jewfish Island making it a popular location for anchoring the boat and enjoying an afternoon of swimming in shallow waters. Be sure to stay close to the sand bar when swimming…as the tide changes a dangerous current runs under the bridge.
Egmont Key is a state park and national wildlife refugee located in the mouth of Tampa Bay. On Egmont Key Island you will find the Civil War ruins of Fort Dade and the Egmont Key Lighthouse. On Egmont Key you can explore the nature trails and tour the fort. There are informational signs that provide the history of the fort. When exploring the island you are likely to run into turtles! Other activities include: picnics, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and shelling. There’s no food, water, or bathrooms on the park so be sure to pack your cooler. Pets are not permitted on the key.
Also a national wildlife refugee located about a mile from the Skyway Bridge just off Anna Maria Island. White sand beach perfect for anchoring the boat so you can swim, snorkel, and enjoy a gorgeous day of boating!
Restaurant and Marina located in the historic Cortez Fishing Village. It’s easy to find from the water; located right next to the Cortez Bridge off of mile marker 48. They have classic Florida cuisine and fresh seafood. You will find lots of outdoor seating and great views at Tide Tables.
Located just south of the Cortez Bridge in Bradenton Beach. Dine at the dockside tiki bar or the inside restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood, appetizers, and entrees. Live entertainment daily. The Bridge Tender Inn was established in 1989 so it’s a great way to enjoy the old Florida experience.

Located in Holmes Beach at the Waterline Marina. This is a beautiful restaurant that is open from 8am – 3pm from breakfast/lunch and then reopens at 5 for dinner.
Sushi and Japanese dinning experience located on the marina next to Galati Yacht Sales. Diner dining only as they open at 4 pm. They offer delicious fresh made sushi, hibachi bar, indoor and outdoor seating.
Please do not take the boat to Rod & Reel or Anna Maria Island City Pier on the north end of the island where varying tides and wind conditions can create unsafe conditions and damage the boat.
